LogonStudio Vista

Expiration Date

I guess what I have really is a question, I registered the FREE version that I downloaded with some other Stardock software that I purchased. My question is why does the LogonStudio Vista have an expiration date? I have been noticing this for sometime now and I thought that I would ask. The rest of the software that I have installed does not expire, why does this one?
