Show Folder in a Menu problem

I have the latest release 535u. Some of my dock entries are set to show the folder contents in a menu. However, on first use there is a fairly long delay in the menu appearing. Once it has its fine, its instant when I hover.

Running Vista X64 Ultimate on a Q9550 with 8GB DDR3 1600

Any ideas anyone? I have uninstalled and reinstalled to see if it solves the issue.
