Hrm, interesting. Can you send some before/after screenshots to support@stardock.com, and let them know the developer requested them?
Just to be clear, Fences isn't the thing crashing explorer, is it? If so, upgrading to the latest version on Impulse (make sure the "Sure pre-release versions" option is checked), rebooting, reproducing the crash, and then emailing us your crash log as described on my other post (https://forums.wincustomize.com/337572) would provide us some very useful information.
