Hello all

I have just upgraded my graphics card and my Windows Dreamscene & Windows Aero does not work.

every time i try to click on dreamscene i get this message

"Windows Dreamscene cannot start when you share your desktop over the
network."

i am running vist home premium 64Bit, and it was working fine untill i upgraded my graphics card.

i now have a Saphire Radeon HD4870 1GB graphics card.

When I right click on my desktop -> Personalization -> Theme, Windows Aero is
not one of the options available from the drop down menu. The only options
available from the themes drop down are "Windows Vista, Windows Classic,
Browse, and My Current theme." I'm guessing this means Aero is disabled and
if so, how do I re-enable it? Desktop window manager and theme services are
both running as well.

i have read other forums but the only answer i got is where the person reinstalled his graphics drivers, and that fixed the problem, i have installed the old driver and the new one from the website still no liuck.

please help
