I am running IconPackager 4.10.172 on Windows XP Home SP3 with IE7. When applying Icon Packages, the icon for html and htm files does not change to the new package icon. I have tried restoring all icons to Windows default and re-applying package. I have tried changing icon for just that file type via right click properties. In the right click context menu, the general table correctly identifies the file type as HTML Document and opens with IE, On the icon tab it identifies the icon thus: current icon: ,0 Description: @ieframe.dll,-912
When I try changing the icon to the set specific one via the icon tab, it changes the listing under "current icon" to the set specified, but the actual icon does not change and the "type of file" info on the general tab changes to @ieframe.dll,-912.
Other info: Windows shows the default internet document icon, but my html editing and file transfer programs show the "generic unidentified icon". This seems to have happened recently after I installed a new icon package, but I don't know which one. The problem is persistent no matter what icon package I apply now.
Any help would be appreciated!
