I was started playing the Stardog on monday.  Got the first clue and second clue.  Then after the third clue, the dog would not go away.  The second, third, and fourth day I had similar results, but this time, I couldn't get past the first clue.  I even tried using the impulse browser.  I seem to have the same problem where the stardog appears and doesn't go away.  Then, on friday I decided to use a different browser.  Safari to be specific.  To my suprise, the Stardog went away when I left the first page; and, appeared when I went to the page with the correct clue.  I really was pissed.  All this time I was wasting my time with IE explorer when I could of used Safari.  I seriously thought it was my computer.  But it actually was the software on my computer.  I later backtrack using IE the puzzled I solved.  I found out after I left the first page, I had to refresh to get the Stardog to come up.  And when I got to the pages where I found the Stardog, I had to refresh the page for the Stardog to come up.  In closing I have to say Java applets running under IE really sucks.
