I'm a vista user.....and I'm guessing the problem started after I downloaded a logon screen from wincustomize.

At first I had problems simply just changing the logon screen through logonstudio, and now after I've uninstalled it I'm left with a buggy startup and a black background when I ctrl + alt + del.  

When I used to ctrl + alt + del I would get the installed logon screen in the background along with the text options (switch user, task manager, etc.). Now I'm left with a black screen, but thankfully left with the text options. But, if I click on switch user I'm brought back to the normal logon screen, nice background and all.

The startup is also very ugly - black screens take up most of the time, only showing me the real logon screen at the last second before startup.

All my drivers are up to date....and the only reason I'm posting this here is because I don't have a restore point.....I was hoping with an uninstall I could fix the problem myself. I've since re-installed logonstudio  to restore the windows default logon screen - which worked but the black screens remained.
