bennynike - I want to encourage you to at least try to skin your ideas. The tutorials here are awesome, and if you just walk through them, step by step, maybe with a mediocre idea to start with so you don't feel like you've "wasted" your best idea, you'll end up with more control in which direction to go with your ideas. There is a REASON that you have good ideas...it's because inside you're a skinner, and you just need the skills to put those ideas into a skin! Just because you're first skin more than likely won't be a masterpiece, doesn't mean that you should rely on master's to use your ideas. If you don't at least try first yourself before seeking someone else to do it for you, you'll never know the thrill of doing it youself, of knowing the how and why of what goes into a skin, instead of just the finished projection. By learning to skin yourself, your ideas will get bigging and better!
I'm a baby-skinner myself right now, working on my second Windowblind, but it feels SO AWESOME to actually create the thing in my head and apply it to my computer, and see what unfolds! You just HAVE to try. The skinners here are really good with helping out on problems that arise, and giving their expert input when you ask for help. The skinning community grows when those of use who are noobs learn from the experts, rather than get them to create our project for us.
