No. This is OT in a big way, and I'll probably start a "drug war" exchange, but. . . even in places like California, where state law permits the use of medical marijuana with a doctor's prescription, it is still illegal under federal law to possess or distribute marijuana. It is a Schedule IV narcotic under the Controlled Substances Act and the DEA continues to enforce this law; as is the case with all such legal conflicts, federal law preempts state law in cases where the latter is more restrictive than the former.

Anyway. . . everyone needs to go get his/her eyes checked, as the OP said!!

I get mine checked every 2 years. except for this past year as I have cateracts(hope thats spelled right).  Now its every 6 months.  Waiting for the right eye to get worse then my insurance will cover 1/2 the cost of lasik.  Am sorry to hear that  Barb.

  Good to hear you do Mike...... Sad when you have to let something get worse before it is even partially covered by insurance....but then, over 1/2 the people in our *great nation* don't have any ( I am one of those silly people) ....But I willhave my surgery, just as soon as DrJ buys those fancy z pants!!!!

Very pleased to meet you Don, and thank you.....but I know I will be fine...almost everyone I know has some big problem they are dealing with, be it health or other things....and mine is so small compared to theirs...but I appreciate the prayers!! 

Too late I already said one and I certainly hope I didn’t make you feel self conscience by using a larger font, to me it’s just as easy to use a large font as the tiny one most forums seem to favor. I was born with a detached retina in one eye and have astigmatism in the other so it doesn’t hurt my feelings a bit when people go with the larger ones.
