The office of the Baseball Commissioner has been abuz all morning with lawyers and some wanna be lawyers trying to get the World Series results overturned. As most people know, four (4) games are needed to be won by one team in the seven (7) game event. Lawyers representing the Yankees and the Marlins have gathered in stunned St. Louis insisting that the games be reviewed to see if the Red Sox did indeed win the four games needed. Former vice president Al Gore was on hand to address the obviously upset crowd. His insinuation that the Red Sox betrayed America was met with mixed emotions by two people in parking lot. Jesse Jackson made the point that St. Louis team had more black players on their team than the Boston team, hinting that 'player suppression' might be something to consider. Presidential candidate John Kerry was quick to point out that it seems a little odd that the final game of the series happened to be played in 'Busch' Stadium.
"It only points to the incompetance of this administration, which is what I've been saying all along". he told a gathering of supporters at the former Heinz factory in Arizona, where he thought the game was to be played.
