Screen Resolution

Just downloaded. So far So Good !!

Nice to have a way to toggle desktop on and off.

My laptop screen is set to 120 DPI (aging eyes !!) and the info windows don't scale correclty.

(I'd insert a picture, but can't seem to make it work here).

jeff graper Hi..Your gpi should be set to 96 for best results. This is done simply by right clicking on the desktop and going to Personalize and on the left hand side you will see Adjust Font Size (DPI). Click on that and you will have your choice of 120 or 96. Select 96. The information I am giving you is for Windows Vista but just about the same procedure for XP....

Butch, he's sasying that he needs bigger dpi to see.

Setting it down would make it harder to see.

How to take a screenshot

Once you take a screenshot, save it on your HD , then upload it at ImageShack and wehn you see all those links to the picture on the next page, scroll down and click "Show Advanced Linking" and copy the direct link to the image that appears.

Then, press the button , paste the copied link and press INSERT and you're done.

Becarefull not to set the DPI too high other wise if you decide to change a setting & need to hit the apply button in the little window you may find it extends below the taskbar,you may be able to make use of a screen magnifier,i use this one on my pc connected to the tv as the screen res makes the icons etc really small & i can't be bothered changing to 800x600 everytime (there's only two settings as the tv's an old crt),it has a few common presets that can be independently selected i.e width or height,your choice of magnification etc http://magnifier.sourceforge.net/

I think this is a valid request. It should not break if it is set to one of the two standard DPI options that Windows makes available.
