does this slow down gaming?

ive searched on google and cant seem to find an answer. Does deskscapes slow down full screen gaming? (games like crysis or whatever)

The deskscape is stalled when you open any full-screen app - games included - then starts up again when you exit.

I've seen no effect on my gaming performance when I have Deskscapes enabled over when I've got a static wally.

No for me it doesn't, and I have only 2 gigs of Ram. Its Descape 2.50, I have installed by the way. I can run Batman Dark Asylum DEMO without any problems with a Dream runing in the background. Extremely impressive in my book.
