Hello all -
Well, I admit it, I'm old, out-of-date, stuck in old technology land, etc.
Been using the Crystal skin on WXP for ages now. Finally broke down and installed Vista (then I broke down again, and again, and again.) Now, I've got Vista quasi-stable and functional and WB works fine.
I want to build my own skin using Studio Pro. But, I'm way behind the times on knowledge of graphics/imaging terms and technology, so please can someone point me to information on how one goes about creating a 'per pixel' image? And, am I correct in thinking that this is all I need to get the blur/transparency affect? (and... Can I create such an image using GIMP?).
What else goes into the definition of a 'vista ready' skin?
Many thanks in advance
