I used to use Desktop X but have recently uninstalled it. I had a custom desktop I used that had the start menu visible and workarea set to reduce bottom to 28. It fit fine with the start menu and when I maximized things they were right above the start menu.

Since I uninstalled this, I have been using windowblinds only, now when I maximize anything, it maxes over the start menu. I HATE this and want to know how to fix it as before I tried out Desktop X (when I ONLY had windowblinds) it maxed it to the perfect place, just above the start menu. Is there a reg key I can change that will fix this? There has to be.....

I have googled it and searched the forums to no avail. Maybe I just don't know the right "correct" words to search for.  PLEASE HELP ME......
