not sure what you mean by 'add'
Both the XP and Vista version of LS let you change the background - don't know about the vista version, but the XP version prefers .bmp
I think the Vista version stops at the background, so far.
If you're trying to add to the background, you need to take the background pic and use a graphics program to combine what you want with what you have, then save it and use it
