Well, I have a new assignment in my photo class. It's 'paiting with light'. Basiclly, this is a night photography project. Last nite me and another girl from my class (our teacher said that we were not allowed to do this project by ourselves due to safety issues) went out to shoot cuz we have to have something to hand in by Thursday. It was all pretty fun except the weather. I forgot my coat (which I thought was in my back seat but oops, guess not) and I was only wearing a short sleeve shirt. Then to top that off, it was sprinkling almost the whole time we were taking pictures.
I had an umbrella in my car so we would hold that over the other persons camera when they were taking their pictures. We went to a bunch of different places, NDSU, the airport, scary country road, and a homeless church in moorhead. Then we went back to her place to do the 2nd part of the project (the first part was the nite shooting) - the next was the 'painting with light'. By the time she got done with her pictures I was too tired to want to do mine. We had started at 7pm and did not finish until midnight. So, I will be doing my 'painting with light' part tonite.
Anyway, the whole experience was fun and I hope to be able to do some more of that kind of photography in the future (but in good weather).
