Wow guys (and gals) THANKS! this was unexpected.
Spence, thanks so much for this, and everyone else its great to have a community like this one. My Belt means more to me than I ever thought it would, being that im no spring chicken, more like fall turkey, and my body and legs have major problems, i never really thought i would make Black belt status. My instructor said something to me when he handed me my belt and it means the world to me...
"If ever there was a person who personifies perseverance he is standing in front of me now"
That still blows me away. So, keep in mind, it doesnt matter if your old, or fat, or have knees made of gravel, what matters is the journey and the fact that you never give up.
