I want to use O.D. on my Vista laptop because the Start menu is rather poor. I like what it can do for me.
But there are two main problems.
First, some programs have very very tiny icons. Other programs, like Explorer, have no problem showing full-sized icons where needed, so they are in there somewhere! The last advice was "find another icon". Well, when selected in Explorer I see a full-sized high-res icon in the info bar area, so where is that coming from?
Second, when I close the lid to make it sleep, when I open it again it takes a fraction of a second to resume. But O.D. is gone. The tabs docked at the side are simply not there. My work-around is to click the OD icon in the tray, which brings up the settings window, and then close it. The windows usually reappear along with the setting window, but sometimes not until I close it.
Finally, a feature request. I'd like to disable a menu without deleting it.
