How to make "user account" background color transparent?

There is a box around each user account. Inside the box is an icon and the password entry field.
Currently the background of the user account box is black. How can I turn it into a completely
transparent layer. I want to see the "nromal" desktop picture instead. Only the user account button and the
user account password field should be shown.

Alternatively the user account box should be completely hidden (but of cause not the user account button
and user account password entry field). Is this possible?

try a program such as fireworks(trial or full) and rub away the bits you don't want.if the checkered bg is there its transparent. Hope it helped.

Not with a standard logon created with logonstudio, can be done with a splash style logon, requires true 32 bit bitmaps which allow transparency, and coding knowledge of UIFILE.
There is nothing that can be done to hide the user account icon, Windows controls it.
