Just thought I'd launch this to see what some of the gripes and grins are regarding current WB trends.

1) Gripe - One trend I see is a move toward transparency w/o much differentiation between active and inactive windows. 

To me, this leads to a very confusing desktop.  Frequently, I have 6-8 windows visible and trying to find the minimize button amidst all those very similar frames can be difficult and I frequently end up minimizing or closing a window by mistake.

2) Grin - I really like the ardornments at the corners of the frames, provided they don't expand the frames too much.

These make for some really interesting skins that break up the monotony. And that dragon is awesome.

3) Gripe - And no one can do anything about it, is dark fonts against dark skins.  WIndows just ruins some really nice work by doing that.

Shame on you Mr. Microsoft

4) Grin - All the new skinners that seem to be popping up with some terrific work.  Wish I had the time, ability and creativity these guys and gals have.  Great work.
