borders around buttons problem

I downloaded a leopard x skin from deviantart and applied it with windowblinds, everything looks great except for all the default buttons. THere's an ugly border around them. I'm pretty sure they're not suppose to be there.

.....could be the design......could also be that they are png buttons and the png is not turned on in skin studio........

Well no one else appeared to have this problem that downloaded the skin. The person that posted the skin showed a ss and it didn't have this issue either.

Katie, first things first:

Open WindowBlinds Configuration, click on the 'System info' tab and then click on the 'Copy text' button.

Paste it (CTRL-v) in a reply in this thread.

Just making a wild guess I would say that a Windows Graphics Experience score of 1 may be your problem. I don't run Vista but when is the last time you updated you drivers? It might help. Is that the trial version you are running?

Graphic drivers? I downloaded ones for my gfx card just to be sure but it didn't do anything obviously. That windows graphic experience is wrong, I just hadn't ran the WEI yet, it's actually 4.8

Someone with Vista will need to verify the file dates - not sure they're all correct.

Now that you've run WEI, go to WB Config & repost your system info - it should reflect the change in graphics score.

It's definitely a transparency/translucency issue, though.
