I have been fighting with vista ultimate 32 since dec when i built this machine wondering why my hotswap bays were not allowing me to remove them.

Down by the clock when you chose safely remove hardware it always said an application is using this devie it cannot be removed please stop the application and then retry, I played with every windows service and aother serivces trying to get my hotswap bays to work!

I finally went into task manager and started shutting down services i researched, and tried my safelly removed hardware. And once i ended the StardockobjectdockPlus.exe. It allowed me to remove all my Hardrives in my hotswap bay.

I Went into msconfig and shut down stardock objectdockplus, and it is working flawlessly!

Any suggestions on who to contact on how to fix this MAJOR issue?

I love the object dockplus, and oddly after using it for some time now. im a little lost with out it! i want my desktop clean again want my dock back. Any ideas anyone?  on how to get objectdock back and so that it doesnt use my HDD's that it has no use to be using. I have 3 HDD"s in my bays that object doc should nto be accessing at all. and they were!

Also A MAJOR Question since i'm here. I do backups of all my stuff and also images. but to be safe. How does one Backup there object dock settings layout to a file?
