Objectdock plus 1.90 crashes

Hi

I have just bought Objectdock Plus. I have noticed that it has a problem with some software that minimizes to tray.
For example Locate32 and sometimes uTorrent.
8 times out of 10 Objectdock stops working after minimizing those apps. Locate32 has a toggleable option to minimize to tray instead of taskbar. If I disable that or if I disable the Objectdock option "Display open windows along side of my windows" then Objectdock doesnt crash.

sukarof unfortunately you are always going to run across some software that doesn't want to work together.

Two things to do, contract the folks that put out the someware in question, Locate32 and uTorrent and see if they are aware of compatibility issues.

Next, contact Support@Stardock.com to see if they can help.

I don't think OD is designed to handle non-standard (non MS) designs.

You can email support at support@stardock.com but your best bet might be to use one of the two methods you described to avoid the problem.

I guess you´re right, this is one of the occations when two software doesnt play well together.
I havent used objectdock for more than a week, but I am already becomming addicted so I guess I will have to live with this problem. It is no biggie really when I think about it. I am just a bit curious why the problem doesnt happen every time. maybe some update will fix this in the future. I will send support a note about this.

Here's an EXCELLENT Fix. But First, I tell a story

I hate shortcuts. I search for an awesome wallpaper, and then I cover it with shortcuts. I can't stand that

But no more.

Now I have object dock and have no shortcuts SAVE ONE (which should signify importance.)

It is a command prompt with a target line that looks like this:
C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /k TASKKILL /F /IM ObjectDock.exe && CD C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock && ObjectDock.exe

What does this mess do?

Why, it kills the ObjectDock task (same as using the task manager) and opens a new one.

this takes about 2 seconds, and fixes any and all OD crashes.

Beautiful in its simplicity. I'm proud as hell of it. now if only I could get the CMD window to automatically close...

I have same problem both windows vista x86 or x64. I already configure a keyboard shortcut to launch OD when it crashes. I don't tolerate more this problem. When??? When Stardock will fix that shit? It's not a free software! I pay for that!!!
