From a previous comment with a few modifications to be more in tune with this current issue you are having -
A few simple steps to follow:
Try un-installing SDC and re-install SDC...
Short of that: uninstall ALL Stardock software including SDC, reboot and reinstall SDC and Object Desktop software
Short of that: Format hard-disk, and reinstall everything.
Short of that:
1. Back away from the PC.
2. Press the Off switch on the Computer
3. Wait until it shuts down.
4. Unplug it from the power source.
5. Store the Computer in a safe place for posterity.
6. Drink beverage of your choice.
Cheers.

It would be in your best interest to take a computer course and have someone who knows computers help you setup SDC and Object Desktop.
The number of issues you have reported is above and beyond the norm for how SDC and Object Desktop programs install and run. This is not Stardock software related and can only be attributed to something you have done to your setup. Take the time to learn the basics of computers.
Sometimes when a system gets messed up as this one seems to be, it is better to start from scratch - format and re-install everything.
My comments are not intended to belittle you and are only to help you.
