0cRz0,
If I put a check in both boxes then it will always use the XP Task Bar in one and in the other if it is checked it will always use Blue Shellstyle. That is the way I interpreted it.
Thats exactly the reason why your startmenu looks like Win98/2000. Because XP is not enabled. So first
enable XP and Blue Shell Style. And than go to the dropdown menu and change it to either a skin u like. or there should be
"use current skin" or sth like that.
So enable the XP button. Because the startmenus u would like to see, are all based on the XP skin.
As Bichur said a click to try wont hurt. I think you should be more couragous. Specially when you do stuff like that and want to customize. And with changing WB settings, its not like you rescript your Win Registry manually, of stuff like that. All of those changes are just one click away to get them to old one. And if you really wanna be safe. Make a image. And than change as much as you like. The recovery will be only one click away. hehe
I have not updated because I am self taught and when I first downloaded WindowBlinds, I had a lot of trouble that Ian Black helped me fix. Since then it has worked fine for me. It is not a matter of money because I have bought other products like Desktop X, Icon packager, Orion Icons, and have subscribed for the last 6 years.
When you still have a subscription, i would recommend to upgrade. Im pretty sure, when you know how to use WB 4.6 you wont have problems with WB 6. The interface is much clearer and easier. Specially for people who are not so fancy with modding.
