I personally couldn't disagree more. The advanced features could be added so the custom settings can be used (such as the picking the start menu location, viewing preferences, etc ). Taking away features is not progress and frankly, to abandon them for the sake of new users only is a real slap in the face to those that helped in this journey from long ago. Stardock can still stay on top of the game without forgetting about the rest of us.
Just because we are used to something doesn't mean it's the best way. I mean . . I recall wringing my hands when Component manager died. (Not really)

ranked features of SDC that you don't want to lose and
MORE IMPORTANTLY -- WHY. Why it's good for the average user. Why it's good for the power user. Why it's good for Stardock. Let's see who tags on and what SD thinks.
I'm not saying it'll go anywhere but have you ever known a software developmetn company that cared or listened more to thier client base than Brad and company?
