Bichur?
Yes?
I am wondering if you have a heart? Harsh man! You dont have to pick apart my every word and prove me wrong. I am new to this Whole community thing. I feel judged and I dont like it. I am just trying to be a part of this community. When I said I was a poet and a wirter I didnt mean proffessionaly. WHen I said That the artical was proffessional I was just meaning It didnt have any personaliy it was plain(wrong choice of words).
I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to be harsh.
If I hurt your feelings, I apologize as that was not my intent. My intent was to show you why you lost me on the article.
You lost me for two reasons:
3. Reading intermittent upspeak hurts my brain more than hearing it.
Upspeak was/is the stupid California 'Valley' habit of ending pretty much everything as a question. I have no idea why people would do that. All it does is make the speaker appear devoid of intelligence.
A basic example using "Steve":
Bichur: "What's your name?"
Steve: "Steve?"At this point I would consider giving "Steve" an assigned seat in the front of the short bus, as I fear he may get lost in the back.
The intent of my 'answers' to your 'questions' in reply #14 was to specifically point out that which I referred in my 1st reply: the confusion of upspeak.
2. A "paragraph" containing 808 words consisting of 3,721 characters (not counting the 800 spaces) taking up 52 lines in Word using Times New Roman @ 12 is just way too long and unmitigatedly screams 'decaf!'
Too much text in one big block causes most people to not read it. This is mentioned by the majority replying here. Put at least one blank line between paragraph content. If you're using SDC to post, use ctrl+m 2 times after the end of a paragraph.
-----------------------------------------------
Now for something slightly harsh:
Writing is a form of art. I also beleive that when It comes to art there is no wrong.
"No wrong" is not quite valid when it comes to writing. If your artistic 'style' of writing causes your audience to not read what you have written, then your 'art' fails to do what you intend.
. I guess We will see what happens when I start college next semester? I might learn how to spell!
I hate to tell you this, but respectable colleges and universities have the expectation you have already learned the basics during your last 12 years of school.
-----------------------------------------------
I was not and am still not trying to put you off. I'm just trying to explain why I couldn't read your whole post.
You got to remember, even though it may not seem like it, this forum is part of the real world. When you post here, it's not IM or Chat. It's being read by people literally around the world and lot of those people are using translators since English is not their language.

If you have a message to share with the world, it's better to share it in a way it can easily be understood.

So you posted something and you got ragged on in a forum... this place came up with a whole 'thump the troll' "holiday" just for me.
No need to worry about fitting in. After 4 years of hanging out here, my observation is this: sometimes a post is no different than a skin - if someone thinks something needs fixing.... they're going to tell you so.
