Hi,
Seabass here. So I have been digging through the forums reading the issues with
the MyColors suites. I thought I would go for a change here and tell you what I
know instead of asking all the time.
In almost every case when someone writes in with registration issues or
downloading issues support is able to log into the account and proceed normally
with no troubles. We are not at the location of the servers nor have privileged
access to the downloads. Just to be sure I have done this on four machines at
home as well.
So here is what we have been trying for everyone. We tell people to disable
security software and some of the registrations issues go away. Downloading
issues we ask that you uninstall, restart, reinstall and that clears some
issues. We also tell people to update to 6.01 WindowBlinds so that there is no conflict
with the theme managers (or to uninstall WB5 if you don't have 6).
However you might notice I am saying "some" for each of those fixes.
If you are having the problems that are listed here please try out what I
just mentioned.
So what we know is that these issues are occurring our on the customer
computers and not our test computers. So all this brings me to my askance for
help.

What MyColors Theme you are trying to apply:
Any security software you are currently using:
Any other skinning software of Stardock’s you have loaded (WindowBlinds most
important to mention) and what version:
What version of mycolors you are running:
After that please let us know of any additional info you might have. Unlike
most problems we just test like crazy until a solution is found. Since this
seems to be taking place at home we need any info you can provide. We just want
to have the best product out there possible for our customers.
In the interest of keeping this thread short and concise please keep it just to
this subject.
