Filthy Headline

Think of the Children!

Now I know that journalists today are trying harder and harder to find sensational stories, and the headlines of those stories are often all they have to catch the eye of a reader, but surely there are limits.

Take this headline:

Rosie Takes Shot At Bush During Gay-Friendly Cruise

I mean, couldn't they just say she was looking for a new girlfriend or something? Did they have to get that graphic?

News organizations are always looking for the best bang for their buck. Our local paper stated in the title, "Bin Laden Surrendered" When they full well knew everyone who read that would assume Osama Bin Laden. But it was some cleric, Bin Laden Ally, or Ally Bin Laden.

note: Its early, spelling correctly seems to be beyond me.

That reminds me of a warning label I read on some type of medicine... I can't recall what it was, but one of the possible side effects was "anal discharge." All i can say to that is, "Ewww!"
