It's great to have you here, it's great to be here, and since we are here let's have a good time. I imagine the sun has set in the west and I guess that means the "Gipper' has been interred and that's how it ought to be. I had the chance to listen to the funeral service on the radio today while up in Portland and if you missed it I advise you all to try to pick up on it somehow. Watch C-Span or buy a newspaper or something. I say that because I was reminded of so much of what I had forgotten about the man, and so much of that is worth remembering. It is true Americanism, and it'll make you glad that you are an American.
Having lived through the 'Reagan Revolution' that everyone is talking about and that the liberals are hoping they just were dreaming and have awoken at last from the nightmare of having their clock cleaned by whom they mockingly labeled "Ronnie Ray-Gun', It was a joy for me to see that it was for real as was brought home so wonderfully by so many world leaders today and all week long. In the ten-year cloud of alzeimers that President Reagun had gone through the brilliance of all that was accomplished back then has also been clouded. Now that cloud has been dispersed, and see how bright it shines! Thank you, good sir, and may your deeds be ever sung around the free world.
