Well, ladies and gentlemen, summer is back! We hit the nineties here in Kennebunkport today, officialy putting an end to what's been a rather cool spring. The Kerry supporters around here have been trying to blame this on the Bushs hogging all the sun but this is Maine, for cryin' out loud, and the weather does as it pleases. It was a beautiful day here today and the Bushs living up around here does make it all the nicer. They do affect the climate somehow.

Folks, I want to apologize for fall asleep as I did last night. I'm on a new dosage of whatever it is that they give me these days and I think that might have had something to do with it. But I do appologize and I promise I'll stay awake tonight.

Mayor: Wouldn't miss it for the world. I kept waiting for you to wake up or for Hal to plug something in. What happened, Hal fall off too?
As a matter of fact ya, he did. Funniest thing. My guest woke me up as she was leaving.
Mayor: It's this nice clean Maine air you all have up here.
