Hi.

I recently started using OD and noticed loading folders from the dock takes 3-4 times longer than loading them from the quicklaunch bar in the XP taskbar. The symptoms:

Both shortcuts are pointing directly at a drive (path D:) . I load D: in explorer using XP quicklaunch and with OD loaded -> takes ~1s. I'm then loading D: from a shortcut with the same target from the dock (taskbar hidden) -> takes ~4 seconds.

Delay is relatively unacceptable, and annoying, since CPU usage remains at 5% in both tries and memory usage stays below 100 MB out of 640 MB.

CPU is a P4 1500 MHz with that older, lowgrade chipset whatever it's called. Will look it up if requested. ! Oh, and I can't seem to find any posts of similar problems. OD would seem to be performance-efficient for anyone else ...
