The girls that I live with are really into the zodiac. They all know their signs, traits, and which sign they're compatible with.

So I'm just curious:

1. Do you like Astrology?
2. Do you think it has merit?
3. What is YOUR sign?

I like it, I think it's a lot of fun.
I think that people who had way too much time on their hands found traits that are similar between people with close birthdays, but I'm not going to stick to a horoscope like a hard, fast rule.
I'm a Libra.

Traditional
Libra Traits

Diplomaitic and urbane (mm, to a degree, I guess I can be pretty tactful.)
Romantic and charming (um, not really. )
Easygoing and sociable (...no)
Idealistic and peaceable (too practical)

On the dark side....

Indecisive and changeable (no...pretty decisive)
Gullible and easily infuenced (pretty set in my ways.)
Flirtatious and self-indulgent (Yeah, I'm a big flirt. Oops.)

Do I believe that astrology has any role in our lives? Not really. Is it fun?

Duh, that's why I'm commenting.

From the site, with analysis:

Traditional traits

Determined and forceful (certainly can be . . .)
Emotional and intuitive (I'm not necessarily very emotional, but I can sense emotion in others really well)
Powerful and passionate (Passionate? I guess you'll have to ask my exes, but my money's on yes. )
Exciting and magnetic (I can be . . . )


Dark side . . .

Jealous and resentful (Not too jealous, but I certainly can be resentful)
Compulsive and obsessive (This would actually be Cedarbird a lot more than me . . .)
Secretive and obstinate (Yes. Very yes. I don't like to tell people things.)

I like to read my horoscope because I think it's fun.  Would I ever base life decisions solely on myhoroscope - no, duh?  I do sometimes feel like it is so right on that it's scary though and I think the descriptives of Cancer fit me really welll. 

Emotional and loving - check
Intuitive and imaginative - check
Shrewd and cautious - check
Protective and sympathetic - check


On the dark side....

Changeable and moody - uh huh
Overemotional and touchy - definately
Clinging and unable to let go - double, super check, I guess that's why I'm still married.  lol

1. Sure...it's kind of fun.
2. Eh, it's iffy.  I sure as heck don't live by it, though.
3. My sign: Taurus.   My Chinese one is the Dragon.

Placid and security loving (Placid is me.  Security's always nice)

On the dark side....

I don't know. I don't see myself as my sign, but others will tell me it's a sure thing. Apparently, I fit all of the traits except gullible and idealistic. I don't see it, though. Huh.

Creative and enthusiastic I'm more creative than enthusiastic.
Broad-minded and expansive I like to think I am.
Faithful and loving Two of my best qualities.

Pompous and patronizing Probably more patronizing than .. oh hell I'm probably both.
Bossy and interfering I don't think I'm either.
Dogmatic and intolerant I think only with people who lack common sense.
