Strange artifacts on Dock

when Desktop Window Manger Session Manager service (re)started

The Desktop Window Manger Session Manager Service is the service which manages Aero effects, and which takes the place of 'graphics acceleration' on Windows XP and earlier Windows versions.

For some reason it sometimes gets switched off when I'm using Windowblinds. When I start or restart this service (for whatever reason) the Objectdock Docks I have get scrambled up and show weird artifcacts. Mousing over the Dock fixes this. It's a weird bug.

Try it on your system - do you get a similar result? Can we expect a fix of this weirdness?

Hmmm, can we have instructions on how to post images to this forum, please? [Other forums have instructed ON THE PAGE where you are actually posting - can we see this on this forum, please]. Also, can we have a PREVIEW of the post on this forum please, which will also avoid problems like this? (When I select 'Preview' in "Advanced Mode" I get 'Preview is currently disabled.')

Here's what the Dock looks like when I (re)start the Desktop Window Manger Session Manager Service:

The above screenshots were taken with the Dock set to 'Keep on Top' so that it is actually showing when I restart the service. When I set it to 'Hide off-screen when not in use' so that the Dock is not actually showing when I restart the service, I still get artifacts showing (even though the Dock itself is not supposed to be visible) but they are much more subtle and slight.

Again, anyone else get this?

It's unrelated to the WB problem, though. It strikes me that this is a bug because it's just related to (re)starting that service. That's why I posted, to see if others get this happening as well. If people do (and anyone can test it - just stop and then start that service and see what happens) then it's a bug. If not, it's some weird problem with my system.

It's not a serious issue. I just thought I'd post out of curiosity, and also to alert the developers in case it is in fact a bug, or "feature".
