Hello all...
Scenario:
To replace my standard Windows taskbar I simply have a dock at the bottom of the screen that shows running tasks. To replace the system tray I have another dock on the bottom right of the screen that shows the system tray icons.
Issue:
Regarding the OD+ replaced system tray, when the small yellow Windows Update shield appears in the system tray it prompts me to click on it to install updates. When i do the icon simply disappears and nothing else happens in relation to the installation. The icon generally comes back after a few minutes, but the same issue is present. When unload OD+ and use the standard Windows system tray the icon functions fine when clicked on. Anyone got any ideas why this might be happening?
With the OD+ replaced taskbar when I have a few programs open and want to switch between them I would click on whichever icon I wanted, just like one does with the standard Windows taskbar setup. Most of the time this works but occasionally the clicked program does not come to the forefront of the screen. There is a flicker as if its going to but then it doesn't. It might take 2 or 3 more clicks to get it on the screen sometimes, or else ill just use the Alt+Tab method. Any ideas on this one? It seems to be a focus issue so maybe there's some settings that i need to adjust in OD+ or something.
Anyway, not life threatening, but issues just the same. If anyone can offer any help it would be great.
Thanks...
Ronan
BTW: Windows XP Home SP2, most current version of OD+, WB & IconPackager installed.
