I am very impressed by OD and have made some (fairly amateurish) icons for Gmail and Firefox. I notice that just adding them to the ...\Stardock\ObjectDock\Bundled Images subtree doesn't let them appear in the 'Choose a new Image' window. I have to take the scenic route by browsing to C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\Bundled Images to actually see them. What appears in the said window seems to be governed by some other mechanism, an .ini file or something. What is it, so that I can see the fruits of my labours more easily?
[edit] SOLVED:It seems that putting them in the '(My) documents\......\ODLibrary\Images' is what's required. I have a common '(My) documents\' subtree for all Windows OSs so this bit works properly on my set up.
I have a triple-booting Windows setup and have written a script to ensure that all boots start with the same icons. It works fine, but the newer installed 'Soft Blue Vista2' background is missing on other OSs because it has been installed into one OS's 'My Documents and Settings subtree'. I tried moving it to the (Program Files)Stardock subtree but its not visible. When I attempt to change the Background setting the drop-down list now has a hole where this and other 3rd party backgrounds once were listed.
How can I consolidate these items under 'Stardock' and actually see them when they are there?
