Hi to all.

I don't frequent the forums much, but I'm sure you guys can help me.  I've had IP for some time now and I've always had the same problem.  Only now I actually have time to look into it: it seems I can't get the CD-Rom icons to behave with consistancy.  Let's say I change the theme to Bleh.ip.  Then all my icons change to those defined by Bleh.ip.  But let's say I insert a CD/DVD that has an autorun icon (which means most of them nowadays) well there begins the headache.  Usually that icon will NOT revert (disappear) after I take the media out.  If it does, it actually reverts to the *ugly* default icon.

Thing is apart from being a pain, going to the IP and refreshing the icon does not work.  IP will actually tell me the theme's icon is set, which is not the case.  If I rebuild the cache or repair icon images, no change.  If I go to the icon derectly and change the icon there, it WILL change, but if I try to get it to display the CD-Rom icon from the theme it will display the windows default again.

Finally what I need to do is change themes and reload the theme I want.

Why?  What's going on here?  And why haven't I found anyone with this problem??  I've neem using this on three different machines through the past year and always the same problem, sometimes worse (not only this icon with the described problem).

I run IP v.3.10 on WinXP SP2 x86.  No other icon software is present and I DON'T run WB.
