WB 6 cleartype oddity

when using UltraMon

I installed the newest version of WB6 via SDCentral this morning.

Everything seems to work fine, except for one oddity. I use RealTimeSoft's Ultramon so I have a taskbar on my 3 additional monitors.

On each extra Ultramon toolbar, Cleartype is being used for the taskbar items. Cleartype is OFF in Windows settings and I can't find a place that would be affecting this in WB settings. This problem did NOT occur when using WB5.


Here are my details:

OS: Windows Vista Business

WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 6.0 (build 49 x86 - Vista Edition)

WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC
WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC
(Generic PnP Monitor) 1 is attached to NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE
(Generic PnP Monitor) 2 is attached to NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE
(Generic PnP Monitor) 3 is attached to NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200
(Generic PnP Monitor) 4 is attached to NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200

I have tried every setting option and this is still happening.

WB6 should recognize that I have cleartype systemwide settings 'off', just as WB5 did.

I have also noticed that when I am using Vista Classic, I can disable cleartype.

However, when I use Vista Aero, cleartype cannot be disabled. I can mark it as disabled but it still smoothes the fonts.
