StephanA: It is probably best if you uninstall the beta, reboot (important) and then install the release.
If you didn't identify the problems left in beta (you said you were not able to reproduce the unskinned StartPanel while a lot of people have still that trouble) i just wonder how the release even after uninstalling the beta, will work correctly ...
I think i've done everything to manage with the beta, delete all .wb4 files, uninstall WB6 beta, cleaned up everything lefted on HD in different Stardock folders (and registry as well), reinstall WindowBlinds (though with a roll back of all WindowBlinds skins to C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds ==> everything's running fine), then try once more to install directly the latest WB6 beta version and then on the second reboot (and for each new reboot i get the same trouble: Startpanel not skinned and taskbar partially skinned ... and that with "old" skins or "very new ones" ... for me, something's wrong with making .wb4 files ...)
