MyColors bug

NHL theme and windows vista

I purchased an NHL theme. However, frequently the top bar (with minimize, maximize, and CLOSE) is either invisible or not displayed on my Vista machine. I can supply screen prints.

Is a patch available?

I don't believe a patch should be required as these suites are all very thoroughly tested before they are released and marketed.

Are you losing the entire titlebar? A screenshot would definitely help. You could upload that to an image hosting site (feel free to google that term if you're unsure of one) and then include that image in a forum post here.

Did you ever install WindowBlinds or a trial of it and still have it installed along side MyColors? The only way I can get this issue to occur is if I am making the two fight for control. Also have you tried applying the theme with Theme Manager instead of MyColors?

I don't believe that I've ever installed window blinds, whatever that is. Deskscapes I've tried, but not Window Blinds.

Vista's theme manager can't find anything to apply (can't find any .theme files).

I've been doing some playing around...

I saved the theme in theme manager. I went into Stardock and switched to Vista theme. Back into theme manager and select the saved stardock theme.

Ugly.

Butt ugly.

Huge icons, task bar not opaque, etc. Just bad.

Back into stardock and look at the advanced settings to apply the Anaheim theme. Guess what's there?

WindowBlinds! Installed by default as part of the theme.

I've uninstalled stardock. If I restart my computer, re-install the Mycolors, go into advanced and de-select the windowblinds, would that (in theory) fix this?

Or should I just leave it uninstalled?
