The Fall TV season: What are you looking forward to?

(Note: I have been so lazy lately when it comes to blogging, and was supposed to pose this question to everyone last week. )


Well, the fall TV season is here, and being a TV watcher, there are many shows that I am looking forward to watching.

There is Grey's Anatomy, Dancing with the Stars (which Donna wrote about-check out her blog), Ugly Betty, Prison Break, Heroes (which Locamama mentioned she might write about soon, so look out for that), and so forth.

New shows I'd like to check out this season are Pushing Daisies and Private Practice.


What about everyone else out there?

THE OFFICE IS BACK! 'Nuff said.

And since my Gilmore Girls is gone, I've nothing left but The Office . . .

I think Heroes was really the only returning show that I was really looking forward to.  I would like to catch Pushing Daisies also.   I do like Mad Men on AMC on Thursday nights.  I wish I had caught it from the beginning.  The show is interesting but I think I could watch it just to see the 60's clothes and decor.  It's like taking a trip back in time.  I guess that is really a summer show. 

I am looking forward to the new Project Runway on Bravo.  I have to check out the Vegas musical show, Viva Laughlin, just because Hugh Jackman will be in it.  I also want to check out Jezebel James because it has the same writer as Gilmore Girls and Parker Posey.  I heard some not great things about it but I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt.  Oh and how could I forget, I'm totally excited about the Bionic Woman.

And The Simpsons and SNL and CSI, but mostly HOUSE!!!

I'm glad that I'm not the only person who loves a show about a sadistic, mean druggie with scores of dead (or near dead) people. (House) I am interested to see how this "reality show" hiring method works out for him! Oh yeah, HEROES! Prison Break, Bones,Desp Housewives, So you think you can dance (Spring)

We've just got the first season of 'Heroes' on DVD, the only way to watch a television series. I think Australia is only up to Season 2, so we're a little behind you guys. Still, I can hardly wait for it.

The other show we're hanging to see is Season 3 of Battlestar Galactica (the new series, obviously). It is some of the best written, acted and shot television I've seen in a long, long time. The scifi quotient is large enough to be interesting but doesn't play much of a part in the overall story. Bring it on!

I just got into this show and love it. I watched seasons 1 and 2 on DVD. I am waiting for season three on DVD or hoping they have a marathon on sci fi before season 4 starts. I think Season 4 is starting at the end of November but I read somewhere else 2008.

Have you seen the new Bionic Women in Australia. Katee Sackhoff (starbuck) is in it as the first bionic woman and she is the best thing about the show.
