Help with WIFI Widget/Object

Ok, so I have tryed probably 4 or 5 different WIFI signal strength meter objects and widgets and none seem to work properly.

Can anyone point in me in the right direction for one that works.

I have a Broadcom 802.11a/b/g WLAN wireless internet adapter for my HP notebook...someone please help...thanks a bunch!
