Well, here's the story. I have been using WindowBlinds, CursorXP, and Icon Packager for years (purchased all three) and, because of the announcement regarding the WB6 beta, thought I would give DesktopX a try. My display is a flatpanel widescreen that is optimized at 1440x900 which has never been a problem up til now.
Needless to say, most of the DesktopX themes list as 1280x1024 or 1024x768 and this has turned out to be a huge issue. I have read a few of the posts which usually go something like "just add +160" (to what?) or "just go into Builder app and change the *insert meaningless gibberish for a non-desktopx creator* here.
I guess I'm wondering why such a seemingly nice app doesn't auto-scale to the display since everything else I have used from Stardock has been light years ahead of what Microsoft puts into its OS. Is there a simple way to get a nice DesktopX theme for 1440x900 or to modify an existing one? I am not artistic, have no desire to learn how to create a DX theme, and have no experience at all with DX up until today.
Looking forward to some feedback and suggestions. Thanks to all in advance!
