Try uninstalling and reinstalling Logon Studio. Sometimes the install will corrupt and you have to reinstall it.

What antivirus?

Did it happen to quarantine jpgutils.dll as a trojan?

it's maybe a long shot - I have TrendMicro and after an update a couple of weeks ago, it snagged jpgutils.dll and LS stopped working. Once I put it back, all was fine.

Have you recently installed a wireless router?

It's a known problem on the secondary machine that has the adapter....it installs a file that disables the use of logons. The primary with the router has no problems, but the secondary can't use them and just gets the password dialog.

Just a guess....

Well, if you're on the secondary with the adapter, you'll probably have to live with no logons unless you can find a solution.

If you're on the primary with the router, it has to be something else that's causing the problem.

domains are usually set up/maintained by company sysadmins

on the domains I've been on, they usually configured to use ctrl+del for log on/off
when I hit ctrl+del on our domain I get a six box window including lock, log off, taskmgr, etc instead of just taskmanager as here at home
wehn I hit winkey+l it usually just screen locks on the domain instead of bringing up fast user switching

LS only skins when 'use the welcome' is activated - domains don't use the 'click your user icon'

on your home system, you would be logging into your computer
on a domain, you're logging into a domain which then brings your basic settings into that computer - that which you saved onto your desktop on one computer will not be on another computer if you log on there

computer on domains aren't set for you to log on to one particular computer, but any computer within the domain
