Are there any plans to add ObjectDock to Object Desktop?

Hi,

I am comptemplating whether to buy ObjectDesktop 2007 for Vista or just go for ObjectDock as the main thing I am after is the toolbars. I was wondering, are there any plans to add ObjectDock to Object Desktop and if not what is the difference between ObjectBar and ObjectDock?

ObjectDock is a dock application used to organize your shortcuts, urls, etc.

OjbectBar is an application you can use to create and replace your desktop envrionment.

ObjectBar is included with Object Desktop, but ObjectDock is not, and I know of no plans to change that. However, if you do subscribe to Object Desktop, you can get ObjectDock at a discount.

There is a free version of ObjectDock, and there is a trial for ObjectBar so you can try them both out.

1. How much of Object Desktop has been designed around the Vista WDM? I understand that TweakVista (which i am currently trialing) and VistaLogon are specific but wondered about the rest.

2. Can you use ObjectBar to simulate what ObjectDock Plus does (e.g. multiple Toolbars, etc)?

3. What is the discount available from getting ObjectDesktop (and will it work the other way if I buy ObjectDock Plus first)?

4. Any chance I can get my Survey email confirmation with the Discount code resent as I seem to have managed to delete it

?

I have the ObjectDock software installed at the moment and would just like to say it is excellent and I would have bought ObjectDesktop 2007 no questions if it was included (but I guess it would sell quite well on its own

)

Many of the components are taking advantage of the DWM.

While you can create "docks" and application launchers with ObjectBar, I really can't compare it to ObjectDock.

3. What is the discount available from getting ObjectDesktop (and will it work the other way if I buy ObjectDock Plus first)?

You get 25% off ObjectDock Plus if you are an Object Desktop subscriber. The only discounts available for Object Desktop is if you are upgrading from WindowBlinds, DesktopX, IconPackager, etc.

I'm not sure the survey is still active. You would have to contact sales regarding that.
