I have the same problem ,running Vista home premium sp1,launching Itunes through regular shortcut does not cause same problem.
1. Go to C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock.
2. Right-click on objectdock.exe. (Maybe dock64.exe if you are running 64-bit.)
3. Go to Compatability tab.
4. Uncheck "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
5. Hit "Show settings for all users" (at the bottom).
6. Repeat step 4 in this dialog.
7. "OK" out of these two dialogs.
8. Restart ObjectDock.
You may need to check the same settings for itunes.exe.
