PaulEscobar, I understand what you mean. It is sometimes hard to select a shortcut. As a result I use the flyout for just a few shortcuts in 1 folder. I am unsure if you are able to have a list in the flyout. I do however use the *list function in a single folder.

So create a folder including all the shortcuts you need & then add a shortcut to your dock, selecting that folder &....check ...show folder in a menu in properties. I do this with both my Desktop & My Documents folder. There are simply too many files to be able use effectively with the flyout wheel.

Hmm... scriptable flyout? have it define by a matrix or function..?

when you browse, use the drop down to change from looking for .exe to all files

what works for is is to pick an object (png or txt or anything) in the folder
then when you click 'okay' - look in the link line and you'll see something like:

C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\pics to upload\CCODE.png

go on the link line and clear out the "CCODE.png:" and it becomes a link to the folder
change the name, click menu view


or open explorer, find the base folder holding the folder you want, drag the folder you want onto the dock

Problem with that is You can't define a custom order with that method. Instead the files/shortcuts are taken in alphabetical order.
