Hey guys, I was an avid user of several Stardock apps up until I got my first Mac in 2004. While going through my Mac "wannabe" phase, I thoroughly enjoyed playing around with OD. Now that I've been on OS X for a couple years, the urge to tweak is welling up in my heart once more, specifically in respect to the Dock. There are
several Dock replacements already available for the Mac, and that would be great...except
they all really really suck. So I'm sure you've already guessed what I'm about to ask.
How feasible would it be to develop a Mac OS X version of ObjectDock?
OD not only has OS X dock replacements beat in terms of customizability, functionality and user experience, I personally think it has the
real thing beat as well. If such a feat is possible (I don't even remember if OD uses OpenGL or DX or anything like that, so the devs would have to answer that one if they haven't already), I believe it would effortlessly own what little competition there is, and be easily worth the slightly higher $20 price tag. Heck, I'd even suggest teaming with
Unsanity if Mac development is too far outside Stardock's realm, but that would be getting into the "wild, random, and outrageous" category.

Users: what do you guys think? And are there any other Mac lurkers here who can give their opinions?
Devs: I have the utmost respect for you guys and what you've been able to do with the Windows platform. Three cheers and free beers for all y'all.
