Google has been in the news quite
frequently lately with several stories about their new "Universal search",
Google Trends, and their recent acquisitions. Well today comes news that
Google has acquired
Feedburner.
In case you are not familiar with Feedburner it is an RSS management and
advertising service.
Google is paying around $100 million to acquire Feedburner, which will mostly be
cash and paid upfront. The deal has been confirmed and should close in the
next few weeks.
