I am new to the forum. Perhaps I should be in the beginners forum, however I am somewhat familiar with the OS. I digress. I have purchased IconPackager and I have downloaded a number of collections. My concern is with the tendancy of Vista to forget folder views. I am also concerned about Vista forgetting icons when moved from one location to another. Am I correct in assuming that loading a custom package of icons will increase the icon cache? And if so, am I risking cache corruption in Vista. Also, am I likely to have to reset all folder views? This could be a bit frustrating and time consuming. So....is there a workaround to pre-empt the possible problems associated with the customizations? Increase bags? Increase MaxCachedIcons? Any help would be appreciated.
